Common Questions
The questions we hear most from travellers planning their Morocco trip.
The fastest way is WhatsApp. Tell us your travel dates, group size, and preferred tour or interests. We build your itinerary for free — no obligation to book. You can also email us at contact@safemoroccotours.com.
Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and most Latin American and Gulf countries do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your arrival date. If unsure, check with the Moroccan embassy in your country.
Yes. Morocco is one of the safest countries in Africa for tourism, with very low rates of violent crime against travellers. We wrote a complete honest safety guide — read it here.
Our family speaks English, French, Italian, Tashelhit (Berber) and Arabic. On request we can arrange Spanish-speaking drivers. Let us know your preferred language when booking.
A small deposit (20–30%) via bank transfer or PayPal confirms your booking. The balance is paid in cash (Euro, USD or MAD) on arrival. Transparent pricing — the quote you receive is exactly what you pay, everything included.
Included: Private transport with our own 4x4, multilingual driver-guide, accommodation, breakfasts (and dinners on desert nights), fuel, tolls, welcome box of premium Medjool dates.
Not included: Lunches, entrance fees to monuments (optional), and tips.
Absolutely — it's what we do best. Every tour is fully private and tailor-made. Tell us your pace (relaxed / standard / intensive), accommodation preference (standard / comfort / luxury), places to add, and we adjust the route just for you. See our tours for starting points.
Sweet spots are March–May (spring) and September–November (autumn). July-August is hot in the Sahara and imperial cities. December-February is cold at night in the desert but perfect for the Atlas. Read our month-by-month guide.
Yes — airport pickup is included in all our multi-day tours from Casablanca, Marrakech, Fes, or Rabat airports. Send us your flight number, we'll be there with a name sign.
Comfortable walking shoes, light layers, warm jacket for Sahara nights, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, modest clothing for mosques and medinas (shoulders and knees covered).
Stick to bottled water (very cheap, widely available). Food in our selected restaurants and riads is excellent and safe. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher or gluten-free diets can be accommodated — just tell us in advance.
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage. World Nomads, SafetyWing, and Allianz are popular options. We want every traveller fully covered for complete peace of mind.
