We meet you at your riad or hotel. Short walk to a rooftop tea house for the first magical moment: watching the sun set over the Koutoubia Mosque and the Atlas Mountains in the distance. Call to prayer rings across the medina.

We dive into the medina's 9,000 alleys. Your guide shows you the spice souk (saffron, cumin, cinnamon), the leather souk, the carpet souk (master weavers demonstrating by lamplight), and the metal workshops where brass lanterns are hammered by hand.

Arrive at the legendary square at peak energy. Snake charmers, Gnaoua musicians, fortune tellers, food stalls with steaming tajines, orange juice vendors shouting prices. Your guide walks you safely through, translating and sharing stories.

We sit at a local food stall (the authentic ones, not the tourist traps) and taste harira soup, grilled merguez, fresh bread, salads. Your guide orders only what's best tonight. Vegetarian options always available. Drinks included.

Walk back through the quieter alleys, now peaceful. Arrive at your riad around 22:00. Sweet dreams of Marrakech.

Early pickup from your riad/hotel. We head south in our family 4x4. Short stop for coffee at a local roadside café — the real one, not the tourist one.

Climb through the High Atlas via the legendary Tizi n'Tichka pass. Photo stops at scenic viewpoints. In winter: snow on peaks. In spring: wildflowers. Visit a Berber village where a cooperative sells authentic argan oil.

First sight of the ksar rising from the red earth — jaw-dropping. Cross the river on foot (or on a donkey for the kids). Walk up through the fortified clay city, stopping at artisan homes, historic storage towers, and panoramic viewpoints.

Traditional Berber lunch at a family-run restaurant with terrace view over Aït Benhaddou. Tajine, couscous, salads, bread, mint tea. Time to relax, take photos, enjoy the slow rhythm.

Short drive to Ouarzazate. Visit Atlas Studios (exterior) where Gladiator, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones were filmed. Also Taourirt Kasbah, a former Glaoui palace.

Scenic return journey over the Atlas with sunset light on the peaks. Short tea break if needed. Arrive in Marrakech around 19:00.

Morning pickup from your hotel. Drive west toward the Atlantic coast (about 2h30). Comfortable journey with panoramic views.

Stop at an authentic women's argan cooperative — a real fair-trade cooperative, not a tourist shop. Watch the traditional argan oil production: cracking nuts, roasting, pressing. Buy directly from the women if you wish (fair prices, money goes to them). Optional: see goats in argan trees!

Enter through the historic gate into the UNESCO World Heritage medina. Atmosphere changes: Atlantic breeze, seagulls, blue doors, whitewashed walls. Guided walk through the ramparts, the Skala (Game of Thrones filming location for Astapor), and the artisan quarters.

Walk to the photogenic fishing port with blue boats and busy fishermen. Lunch at a harbour-side grill: pick your fish from the day's catch (sea bass, sardines, calamari, shrimp), grilled on the spot, served with bread, lemon, tomato salad. Pure ocean. One of the best meals of your trip.

Free time at your pace. Options: walk the 10 km beach, camel ride on the sand, visit Thuya wood workshops (Essaouira specialty), explore art galleries, kitesurfing, or coffee at a terrace.

Gather at the van and start the return journey. Arrive in Marrakech around 20:00 (depending on traffic).
